De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre Tour

The Cheetah is Africa's fastest cat. It can reach speeds of up to 120 km/h over a very short distance. You will be taken on an educational tour to learn more about Cheetah breeding programs. These breeding programs rescued the Cheetah from extinction in South Africa.

De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre itinerary

Transport to and from your location will be arranged. The De Wildt cheetah and Wildlife Centre lies nestled in the foothills of the Magalie Mountain Range presenting a landscape of open African veld, many indigenous trees and a panoramic view of the north. Rare wild animals are part of this landscape. De Wildt is renowned for its breeding success of rare and endangered wildlife. The very rare King Cheetah was first bred here and similar success was achieved in breeding the Wild Dog, Brown Hyena, Blue Duiker, SuniAntelope and various species of vultures. We'll take you through the breeding programme and answer any question you may have.
